Scene 2: My Pleasure

• INT./EXT. DANTE’S CAR – DAY
  Dante leans back in the passenger seat.
  DANTE
  You know, Every time I buy a vape at Circle K, the clerk says “My pleasure,” like I'm at Chick-fil-A.
  Jack, busy unwrapping a burger, looks over, confused.
  JACK
  'My pleasure'?
  DANTE
  (animated)
  Yeah, I'll go to the same store with the same employee buy chips. Nothing. Go again to buy a vape.'My pleasure'.
  Suddenly, Dante’s phone buzzes. He glances down and his eyes go wide.
  DANTE
  (excited whisper)
  Holy shit.
  DANTE
  Remember that $50 parlay I placed this morning?
  JACK
  (bored)
  Yeah?
  DANTE
  (grinning)
  It just turned it into $450.
  JACK
  ...
  DANTE
  You'll be able to talk when you hit a parlay.
  Dante crumples the wrapper and throws it across the dash, feeling proud.
